How it works

How career offices use it

  1. Point students at their field

Every field has a page of the space roles open in it, broken down by state and by town, so a student can see which launch, satellite and defense companies are hiring near campus and the salary each posting gives.

  2. Show the roles on your own site

The jobs widget puts the newest space roles for a field, a state or a town on your department or career page and updates itself. Copy one snippet or add its RSS feed to your newsletter. No account needed.

  3. Ask for your campus's roles

Tell us the programs you run and the towns your students search in, and we send you a file of the open space roles there by employer, with the posted salary and a link to each.

  4. Internships and new grad roles

Students still in school have the internship and co-op list, by season, and graduates the roles whose postings ask for no experience.

FAQ

Questions from career offices

Is there a fee?

No, not for your office and not for your students. Space companies do not pay to appear either: every role is taken from the company's own careers site.

Which companies are on it?

Launch providers, satellite makers and operators, the defense primes' space businesses, NASA and its centers, European agencies and the start-ups around them, read from their own careers sites. Each role has its own page with the full posting and the salary it gives.

Can we see only the roles near our campus?

Yes. Each field has state and town pages, and the widget and its feed can be narrowed to one state or one town.

Do you need anything from our students?

No. The pages, the widget and its feed work without any student data. A student who wants a recruiting agency's help asks for it on our site.

Is our school on your pages already?

If it graduated many people in a field. Each occupation page, nationally and for each state, names the schools whose programs graduated the most people that year, from the U.S. Department of Education's completions survey, beside the open space roles and the salaries they post.
