How it works

Three steps

  1. Get your link

Create a free account and your referral link, spacejobs.now/c/k7f2q9, works at once. The code is yours alone: six characters, drawn for you.

  2. Send a role to someone who fits

Your referral page lists the open roles your colleagues would fit, with what each would pay you, and sends any of them from your own phone or mail in one tap. Every role on the site also has a Share button that adds your link.

  3. Earn when they are hired

When someone you refer is hired and starts work, you earn the amount the role showed. Paid monthly by PayPal or Wise.

Your earnings

How they are worked out

You are paid for each person you refer who is hired and starts work, and nothing for anyone who never is: what you earn follows real results, never clicks or sign-ups.

Each role on your referral page shows what you earn for one person you refer to it. For a role that shows no amount, what you earn is set by that role's referral terms and appears in your account once the person is hired and starts work. We confirm each referral before it is paid.

Someone who opens your link and, within 400 days, presses Apply on an employer's role for the first time through us, signed in to a free account with us (or making one right after). They count for each employer they apply to that way. Your own account never counts, and neither does someone an employer already had through us. If they open someone else's referral link before applying, the newest link counts. Once an employer's credit is made, it is never moved to anyone else.

The terms

Plain and short

Your link
spacejobs.now/c/k7f2q9, with your own code, or any page of SpaceIndustry.jobs with ?ref= and your code (for example spacejobs.now/remote-space-jobs?ref=k7f2q9). Every role's Share button makes that link for you.
Who counts
Someone who opens your link and, within 400 days, presses Apply on an employer's role for the first time through us, signed in to a free account with us (or making one right after). They count for each employer they apply to that way. Your own account never counts, and neither does someone an employer already had through us. If they open someone else's referral link before applying, the newest link counts. Once an employer's credit is made, it is never moved to anyone else.
What you earn
Each role on your referral page shows what you earn for one person you refer to it. For a role that shows no amount, what you earn is set by that role's referral terms and appears in your account once the person is hired and starts work. We confirm each referral before it is paid. You are paid for each person you refer who is hired and starts work, and nothing for anyone who never is: what you earn follows real results, never clicks or sign-ups.
When you are paid
Monthly, by PayPal or Wise, whatever you are owed. A referral is confirmed some weeks after the person starts work, so your earnings arrive as each one is confirmed.
What you can see
In your account: your link, the roles your colleagues would fit, how many people applied through your link at each employer, how many of them were hired, and what you earned, were paid and are owed.
Cost
No fee to join.
Fair play
Paying or rewarding people to open your link or press Apply, or sending made-up visits or accounts, is not allowed and ends your participation.
No income promises
What you earn depends on how many of the people you refer are hired and start work. The amounts shown are what each role pays for a referral today, and roles change. We do not promise any amount.

Paid monthly, whatever you are owed.

Questions

What people ask us

Who can join?

Anyone with a free account: someone who knows people who would fit these roles, someone who makes content about careers, engineering or space, or an organization that reaches professionals (an association, a publisher, a newsletter, a community or a job board). There is no fee and no approval step.

Can an association or a publisher join?

Yes. An organization joins with one free account and gets one link for all its channels: a benefits page, an e-newsletter, or our jobs widget on its site, set to one profession. It earns the amount each role shows for every person it sends who is hired and starts work, paid monthly. Nothing for clicks or sign-ups, no minimum and no exclusivity.

Do I have to make content?

No. Most people in the program send a role to a friend or a colleague they think would fit. People with an audience use the same link and the same rule.

Can I send one specific role?

Yes. Your referral page sends any of the roles listed there, and every role on the site has a Share button. Anyone who opens it lands on that role, and everything they apply to for 400 days counts for you.

Why only for people who are hired?

You are paid for each person you refer who is hired and starts work, and nothing for anyone who never is: what you earn follows real results, never clicks or sign-ups. Visits, clicks and sign-ups are easy to fake and cost nothing; a hire is not. So the people you send who are hired are the ones you earn from, and nobody is paid out of fees other people earned.

Why do the people I send need an account?

It is how we know who you sent. The employer's referral list names the person who was hired, and their account with us records the link they came through. Anyone who applies through us is asked to save their applications in a free account, and an apply made just before signing up still counts.

Do you contact the people I send?

No. You send your link yourself, to people you know. We never write to them because you named them.

How is my code kept unique?

It is drawn at random from about 887 million possible codes, and the database refuses a code that is already taken, drawing again. No code is ever given to two people.

When do I get paid?

Monthly, by PayPal or Wise, whatever you are owed. A referral is confirmed some weeks after the person starts work, so your earnings arrive as each one is confirmed.

How much can I earn?

What you earn depends on how many of the people you refer are hired and start work. The amounts shown are what each role pays for a referral today, and roles change. We do not promise any amount.

Do I have to say it is a referral link?

Yes. Tell the people you send it to that it is your referral link, and tell an audience that the link earns you a commission. The FTC and most employers require it for paid links.
