28 of these 30 space companies list more open jobs today than at the first copy the Internet Archive kept of their careers board. The 16 whose boards were copied by Jun 2023 listed 1,598 jobs then and 4,853 on 6 Nov 2026, although 6 of them fell to half their early count or less along the way.

Is the space industry hiring in 2026?
On the companies' own boards, yes for most of them: 28 of the 30 space companies here list more open jobs on 6 Nov 2026 than at the first copy the Internet Archive kept of their board, and SpaceX added the most (968 in Jan 2023, 2,894 now). Today's open space jobs, with pay and locations, are on the job board.
Did space companies cut hiring in 2023 and 2024?
Many did. Of the 16 companies whose boards were copied in the first half of 2023, 6 later showed half or fewer of the jobs of that first copy (Astranis: 70 in Jan 2023, 24 in Jul 2023; Planet: 104 in Jan 2023, 3 in Jul 2024; ispace: 42 in Jan 2023, 17 in Jun 2025; Kepler Communications: 15 in Feb 2023, 5 in Oct 2024; Momentus: 13 in Jan 2023, 3 in Apr 2023; Epsilon3: 3 in Mar 2023, 1 in Dec 2023). Together those 16 boards listed 1,598 jobs then and 4,853 on 6 Nov 2026.
Where do these numbers come from?
From each company's own careers board (Greenhouse or Lever) as the Internet Archive copied it, one copy a month: the job feed where the Archive kept it, else the board page, counting every job it listed or the total it stated. Today's count is the same board on 6 Nov 2026. A month with no copy has no point, and each month links to the copy it was counted from. Employers whose boards are elsewhere (Workday, their own sites) are not here, nor is hiring that is never posted.
