If you are ready to take on exciting challenges and be part of a company that is redefining the boundaries of satellite technology, we welcome you to embark on this thrilling journey with us! ## Your Mission - Hands-on software development (at least 50%, depending on the domain and role). - Lead the execution of complex initiatives spanning multiple tasks and epics, layers of the technical stack, and teams. - Contributions to technical roadmaps. - Setting high standards for technical excellence and software quality. - Act as a hub for technical communication between the software team and other teams, such as systems, mission operations, AOCS, etc., to define interfaces and ensure that the system works end-to-end and that all individual work packages are integrated into a coherent functioning system. - Leading and contributing to design reviews, code walkthroughs, complex technical discussions. - Mentorship - providing training and day-to-day guidance to the Software team. ## What you can expect - An opportunity to shape the technical landscape of a modern satellite development company. - A large SW team of 20+ dedicated and highly skilled software engineering colleagues. - Being part of Reflex software technical leadership, maintained by Reflex’s staff and senior engineers.

A staff-level engineer's differentiating trait is the execution of tasks that involve substantial complexity and require coordination between multiple software engineers or across different teams. ## The following requirements are MUSTfor this staff-level position - At least 8 years of professional experience in at least two of the following domains: Space flight software - Space payload software - Embedded software - Real-time mission-critical software - Mission control software - Software validation and verification - Product Assurance, RAMS, security - Development tools and infrastructure - Ownership of challenging technical topics - Very good communication and collaboration skills. - Strong ability to work independently while at the same time staying aligned with the existing software architecture, the team's development vector, and, very importantly, the customer needs. - Focus on detail, quality, and testing - Experience working in regulated environments - Experience with industry standards such as ECSS, DO-178, IEC 61508, etc.
