We are hiring mid-level, senior, and staff flight software engineers for our satellite Mission Teams. The Mission Teams execute satellite missions end to end.

You are responsible for developing the onboard software for Reflex missions: core satellite functions and payload software. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of the space industry’s future. If you are ready to take on exciting challenges and be part of a company that is redefining the boundaries of satellite technology, we welcome you to embark on this thrilling journey with us! ## Your Mission - Lead the development and integration of onboard software, from the initial concept to deployment in orbit. - Develop mission-specific software, payload software, and core flight software needed for the satellite missions. - Serve as the primary interface between the customer, the mission team, the flight software team, and the payload providers. - Translate mission and customer needs into precise technical specifications and design solutions. - Support the mission managers and software team leads in planning, coordinating, and tracking software-related work packages. - Contribute to and lead technical reviews at project milestones.

Produce concise technical deliverables and material for these reviews. - Support integration and test phases for subsystems and payloads. - Coordinate daily work with the team. Monitor progress.

Report critical blockers to leadership. - For Staff level: lead complex initiatives that span multiple tasks and epics, layers of the technical stack, and teams. ## Your Background - Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Typically 3+ years (mid-level), 5+ years (senior), or 8+ years (staff) of experience in high-reliability embedded or spaceflight software. - Programming experience in C and Python. - Programming experience in both embedded RTOS and Embedded Linux/POSIX environments. - Knowledge of satellite subsystems, satellite payloads, and payload operational constraints. - Skilled in structured problem-solving, technical communication, and collaborative team work. - Experience with ECSS standards (e.g., ECSS-E-ST-40, ECSS-Q-ST-80, etc.) is a plus. - Experience with NASA cFS or similar frameworks is a plus. ## What We Offer - Collaborate with a diverse multinational team crafting the next wave of cutting-edge satellites.
