Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence Engineering</p><p><br />CANDIDATES THAT WOULD IMPRESS US:<br />You graduated from an Engineering School with a master’s degree – a PhD is a plus<br />Your level of experience ranges from junior to advance: you are a student OR/AND you have already occupied one or more positions among the following: Algorithm or Software Engineer, Artificial Intelligence Engineer<br />You are curious and willing to stay abreast of the latest trends (technical, philosophical, ethical by design)<br />You enjoy thinking "outside the box" and use your creativity to address complex challenges<br />You are recognised as a team player and promote collaborative work<br />You are user centric and want to design components accordingly</p><p><br />COMPETENCIES:<br />You have in-depth knowledge in mathematics, algorithms, experiment plan, continuous iterations and Agility<br />You are proficient in one of the following Artificial Intelligence Approches:<br />Data driven AI, Symbolic AI, Hybrid AI on the Solution<br />Symbolic Artificial Intelligence and reasoning<br />Human/machine dialog<br />Systems Analysis<br />You understand the norms, laws and standards<br />You have knowledge of cybersecurity<br />You can confidently discuss with people from different jobs and background<br />You master foundational concepts in mathematics/ statistics science and their application to deploy them on Solution studies: statistical modelling, linear algebra, optimisation, machine learning Mathematics and Statistics</p><p></p><p>NICE TO HAVE:</p><ul><li><p>Working heritage on major satellite Earth Observation and Navigation systems</p></li><li><p>Simulation by tool such as Matlab & Simulink</p></li><li><p>adopting modern Agile and DevOps processes</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Data analysis and big data technologies</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Cloud technologies and architectures</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Edgetechnologies</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of object programming in particular Python (Pyorch) , Java, C ++ and relevant Data Science packages (such as numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, pandas...);</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of operating systems;</p></li></ul><p><br />As an Artificial Intelligence Engineering Role within Thales, you will:<br />Design and develop trustworthy artificial intelligence components for various domains<br />Identify the right cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technologies (machine learning, symbolic AI, dialogue) and develop the Artificial Intelligence component accordingly<br />Work on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Understanding (NLU), and also to design multimodal approaches for Human-Machin Dialog including intention understanding, reasoning and hybrid AI<br />Work on Machine Learning, causality vs. correlation, and/or other Data driven AI technics such as Random Forest, Evolutionary Algorithms, …<br />Work on Symbolic AI, Ontology, Semantic Web, Knowledge based Reasoning, Meta-heuristics, Problem Solving, Operations Research, Decision Making and reasoning<br />Propose and design approach alternatives<br />Integrate scientific method into engineering system methodology<br />Ensure data knowledge and traceability<br />Ensure continuous technowatch and be aware of the latest trends (technical, philosophical, ethical by design)<br />Define the system capabilities thanks to a functional, logical and value analysis, describing functions to be performed to meet the real needs of the user in the various scenarii and maximising product value for Customer<br /><br />YOUR CAREER AT THALES<br />Future opportunities will allow you to discover other domains or sites.
