Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>We are looking for an Active Antenna System Engineer</p><p></p><h2>CANDIDATES THAT WOULD IMPRESS US</h2><p>You have graduated with a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering.</p><p>You have a background in RF, digital, and power engineering.</p><p>You are fluent in professional English.</p><p>You are recognized as proactive and capable of excellent team working.</p><p>Mastering of Digital BeamForming architectures is considered a plus.</p><p></p><h2>COMPETENCIES:</h2><p>You can master System Engineering in the active antennas domain.</p><p>You are familiar with software skills such as Matlab/Simulink, KeySight SystemVue, and AWR/MWO-VSS.</p><p>You know how to manage RF and power budgets.</p><p>You are familiar with modeling active antennas for RF/digital/power subsystems.</p><p>You have experience with Analog and Digital Beamforming.</p><p></p><h2>LIFE AS AN ACTIVE ANTENNA SYSTEM ENGINEER ROLE</h2><p>As an Active Antenna System Engineer role within Thales, you will:</p><p>Collect requirements and needs from stakeholders and formalize them into models and requirement specifications.</p><p>Drive trade-off activities for RF, power, and digital architecture, taking into account the state-of-the-art availability of technologies.</p><p>Perform the flow down of antenna requirements to subassemblies, including RF Front-Ends, RF Amplifiers, Power Supply Units, Digital Control Units, BFN, and harness.</p><p>Model active antennas using the most suitable tool depending on the Lifecycle stage.</p><p>Support IVV-Q activities.</p><p>Interface with internal and/or external suppliers to ensure delivery in line with performance, quality, schedule, and cost required by the Program.</p><p>Interface with internal and external customers for reviews.</p><p></p><h2>YOUR CAREER AT THALES</h2><p>Future opportunities will allow you to discover other domains or sites.
