Benefits Analyst

Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars. ## RESPONSIBILITIES - Administer health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life, and disability - Counsel employees on plan options, eligibility, life events, and coverage questions by email, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessions - Support annual open enrollment, including communications, system setup, employee questions, and vendor coordination - Partner with carriers and vendors on eligibility, claims issues, billing, and plan administration - Serve as liaison with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, and other stakeholders on benefits matters - Ensure benefits programs remain compliant with applicable federal, state, and local requirements - Identify, recommend, and implement benefits process and program improvements - Support wellness and related employee benefit programs - Other duties as assigned ## BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree - 2+ years of human resources experience in a generalist or benefits background ## PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Benefits or human resources certification (CEBS, PHR, etc.) - Experience with benefits platforms such as Workday or UGK - Ability to use independent judgment and prioritize work - Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment - Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills - Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel - Attention to detail and commitment to quality - Highly collaborative, with a strong team orientation - Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple high priorities in a loosely structured environment - Bilingual in Spanish and English ## ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS - This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA area - Position occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours or weekends when needed - Ability to travel to other SpaceX offices as needed ## Pay Range Level 1: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 Level 2: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
