Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Continuous Improvement Leader to join them. You will report to the Value Stream Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA ## To be considered for Continuous Improvement Leader you will need - Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience using continuous improvement tools.

Lean Six Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. - Proven ability to utilize statistical evaluation techniques, process capability analysis, and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

As a Continuous Improvement Leader, you'll be at the heart of driving organizational development and continuous improvement.

Here are some key highlights of the role: ## Responsibilities - Lead and apply Lean Six Sigma principles to improve business and manufacturing processes. - Coordinate and facilitate improvement activities. - Convert strategic goals into actionable Lean Six Sigma plans. - Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities, execute plans, and achieve goals. - Train staff and lead/support Lean events and improvement projects. ## Key Duties - Develop and standardize continuous improvement tools, processes, and metrics. - Support teams in identifying and implementing area improvements. - Lead Lean Six Sigma activities with cross-functional groups. - Create and track annual improvement plans. - Optimize site operations (5S, material flow, Kanbans, etc.) to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. - Improve business processes across the organization. - Identify and solve problems to reduce costs. - Develop daily improvement systems and tools. - Train staff on Lean Six Sigma concepts. - Stay updated on continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma methods. - Travel to other facilities, customers, and suppliers (10% travel). Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
