We are looking for aPower Test Engineer to join our satellite systems team at our Montreal office. ## Role The Power Test Engineer will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop state-of-the-art test stations to automate the production of geostationary antennas or constellations.

You will be part of a specialized testing team tasked with ensuring that the performance of the antennas, once in orbit, meets customer requirements and enables the provision of the communication services required for the mission. ## Duties and Responsibilities - Liaise with the design team - Analyze test requirements - Define test methods and techniques - Define test equipment and test data processing methods - Draft test plans, procedures, and reports - Develop software applications and automated test and RF measurement procedures - Code and validate test sequences - Monitoring tests and providing operational support according to the required specialty: - RF in PIM, Near-Field, or Compact Test Range - RF in Active Electronics, Burn-In - Power in Electronic Power Converters - Metrology in Flight Unit Alignment - Mechanical in Thermal Testing - Planning and coordinating test activities and the technical team. ## Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or physics. - The candidate must have a background in electrical engineering or physics with a solid foundation in electromagnetism or microwaves, as well as strong programming skills. - 2 to 4 years of experience - A motivated individual with a sense of initiative, strong team coordination skills, and a passion for improving test techniques. #LI-PP1 #Sp ## Comments/Special Considerations Selected candidates must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the reliability level and pass the security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR. ## Benefits Statement MDA offers competitive compensation and benefits to its employees at all locations.
