## Standard Job Description Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.

Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.

Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met. Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Experienced Software Engineer to join our Common SoftwareFramework (CSF) team.

In this role you will develop embedded software, create automated test frameworks, andwork closely with systems engineers, and hardware teams to ensure that embedded flight software meetsstringent aerospace standards for performance, safety, and reliability. CSF supports various programs and this rolewill support the ACES (Advanced Capabilities Electro-optics & Security) Portfolio.

ACES focuses on projects thatdevelop first of its kind optical systems and laser.

The successful candidate will have experience withprogramming languages such as C, C++ and experience with embedded software/hardware. ## Basic Qualifications - Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other related degree program from an accredited college/university - Experience with programming languages such as C, C++ - Experience with embedded software/hardware - Experience with Gitlab and CI/CD - Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability and willingness to obtain a Top Secret Clearance ## Desired Skills - 3+ Years Experience with HW/SW Integration - Experience with Optical systems - Experience with RTOS #LMSpaceSoftwareEng ## Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
