Manufacturing Engineer (Associate or Experienced) ## Company Argon ST Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate or Experienced Manufacturing Engineer (Level 2 or 3) to join our team in Smithfield and Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvaniaon either 1st or 2nd shift. ## Position Responsibilities - Provides production support during all phases of manufacturing - Creates of bill of material and production build plans while leading and implementing manufacturing plans - Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies - Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines - Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build - Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements - Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices - Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions - Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule - Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts - Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems - Implements lean principles and technologies ## Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience) - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement - 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings ## Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) - Experienced (Level 3): 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Experience is electrical/electronics manufacturing - Experience in 3D Modeling applications such as Catia, Siemens NX, Creo - Experience using manufacturing execution systems such as TipQA Shopfloor Execution or Costpoint - Experience in creation of manufacturing planning and lean manufacturing ## Conflict of Interest Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. ## Drug Free Workplace Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. ## Shift This position is for either 1st or 2nd shift. ## Pay and Benefits At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
