## Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead System Engineer (d/f/m) to join our dynamic team in the Airbus Defence and Space Team, for upcoming and existing projects from German and international Customers.

The successful candidate will lead a technical team across multiple sites, overseeing system breakdown, requirements engineering, testing, and planning while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Those seeking technological excellence and interdisciplinary collaboration will find the ideal environment here. ## Our Benefits for You - ## Your tasks and responsibilities - Lead Technical Teams: Manage and guide multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple sites - System Breakdown: Oversee the decomposition of complex systems into subsystems and components - Project Planning and Execution: Create and maintain project schedules and execute plans - Decision-Making: Make critical technical and strategic decisions to resolve issues and drive project progress - Quality and Progress Monitoring, Reporting, apply agile methodologies to manage workflows - Motivate team members, encouraging innovation, accountability, and high performance - Ensure compliance with defense industry standards and regulations - Travel as needed to coordinate with teams, stakeholders, and clients ## Desired skills and qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on the defense or automotive industry - Proven expertise in system breakdown, requirements engineering, and testing - Experience leading technical teams and managing projects across multiple sites - Knowledge of agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and SAFe would be beneficial - Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities - Strong organizational skills and self-motivated work ethic - Ability to motivate and inspire team members - Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands - Strong communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement - Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment - Familiarity with defense industry standards and practices ## Why Join Us?
