The roles here that state pay post a median $123k/yr, with typical pay from $110k–$174k/yr; 93.2% of Colorado's postings state their pay at all, which our research on where space jobs are compares state by state. Colorado's law has required every employer with at least one employee in Colorado to state a pay range in job postings since 1 Jan 2021 (each state's law beside its postings).

Of the 2,087 space postings in Colorado whose text we read, 58% are limited to US citizens or US persons and 63.5% name a security clearance, by our research on who can apply, which compares every state. Each posting states its own rule, often citing export control under ITAR or the EAR.

We read each employer's own job board every hour. A role is listed here when it is a US role and its own location line names a place in the Fort Collins area (the Fort Collins-Loveland, CO metropolitan statistical area as the Census Bureau draws it: Larimer County), by the same reading as our research on where space jobs are, and its posting names a security clearance level (Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) by the same reading as every cleared space job; remote roles that name no state are on the remote jobs page.
