Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>CANDIDATES THAT WOULD IMPRESS US<br /><br />PROFILE:<br />You graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related field<br />You enjoy working within a DevOps/Agile/Scrum team and being plunged into a challenging environment requiring reactivity and resourcefulness<br />You want to evolve in a "real time" environment with interactions between "low level" technical aspects, close to the hardware, and ensure that the “high level” functionality expected by the solution is maintained<br />You are willing to work on small or big devices such as Radar, embedded calculator equipment, Smartcards and Wearables, dedicated for the Telecommunications and IOT businesses, mobile...<br /><br />COMPETENCIES:<br />You know how to develop on embedded OS Software such as Linux, VxWorks, FastOS Linux<br />You are experienced in embedded software development such as [C or C++ and VB., NET., ADA, Assembly programming]<br />You are familiar with the use of tools and equipment involved in programming performance (including measuring instruments)<br />You master the development/adaptation of simulation tools and means necessary to carry out integration/testing activities on platform<br />You are experienced in embedded system and application design and configuration (both wayside and onboard) and relevant communication protocols and interfaces such as [DDS, ARINC...]<br />You have substantial knowledge of:<br />Building a strategy based on your understanding of the business issues involving data processes<br />Mathematics and statistics<br />Data technologies<br />You are able to take into account customer needs<br />You have working experience/knowledge with cloud provider like AWS or GCP<br />You have experience with automated deployment and associated technologies (Helm/Yaml/Ansible/Docker)<br />You are familiar with tools such as JIRA and Confluence<br /><br />LIFE AS A THALES SOFTWARE REAL TIME & EMBEDDED ENGINEERING ROLE<br /><br />As a Software Real Time & Embedded Engineering Role within Thales, you will:<br /><br />Design, implement and test features with scalability, performance, deployment or operation and end-user experience in mind<br />Apply coding/implementation best practices to produce elegant, high quality and reusable code<br />Implement and follow security best practices for web applications<br />Collaborate with other developers to share knowledge and improve overall product/solution<br />Keep up-to-date with latest technologies evolution and frameworks<br />Interact with UX team to implement and verify user experience concepts<br />Follow the agile methodology used for the project.
