Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>We are looking for an Antenna RF Engineer</p><p></p><p>CANDIDATES THAT WOULD IMPRESS US<br />You have graduated with a BSc qualification in a relevant discipline.<br />You have excellent English, both oral and written.<br />You have previous working experience in Space projects, preferably in the design and development of Antenna RF components.<br />You are a team player with a methodical approach to work, able to work autonomously and set priorities.<br />You are committed to assigned tasks and schedules, willing to propose solutions with a spirit of innovation.</p><p></p><p>COMPETENCIES:<br />You have strong analytical skills, a pragmatic and product/results-oriented approach, and the ability to generate innovative solutions.<br />You are familiar with design and technological aspects specific to the development of Antennas and passive components for space applications.<br />You have very good knowledge of SW tools for the design of Antennas and RF devices (Microwave Office, HFSS, CST Suite, ADS, Microwave Wizard, TICRA Tools, GRASP, POS, Feko, etc.).<br />You have knowledge of Matlab and/or at least one programming language (Fortran90 or C++).<br />Basic knowledge of standard Project Management techniques and tools is considered a strong asset.</p><p></p><p>LIFE AS A SENIOR ANTENNA RF ENGINEER ROLE<br />As a Senior Antenna RF Engineer role within Thales, you will:<br />Design and develop Antenna RF solutions in the frame of satellite programs, projects, R&D studies, and industrial activities.<br />Perform RF Design of Antennas involving both passive components and active antenna RF front-ends, including concept formulation, feasibility, and trade-off.<br />Synthesize, design circuits, and perform electromagnetic modeling and simulation of Antennas and components, including complex beam-formers.<br />Select and define the most appropriate technology, manufacturing processes, and procedures for the development of space-qualified Antennas.<br />Implement components development plans, monitor workshops and suppliers, and prepare purchase orders.<br />Test Antenna and RF Subsystems/Components and prepare relevant reporting.<br />Contribute to the preparation of proposals, provide technical management of projects and studies, and prepare technical reports and program review documentation.<br />Interface with customers, subcontractors, or suppliers.</p><p></p><p>YOUR CAREER AT THALES<br />Future opportunities will allow you to discover other domains or sites.
