Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>We are looking for a Digital Electronics Engineering<br /><br /><u>PROFILE:</u><br />You graduated with a Master of Engineering and you have significant experience in Digital Electronics<br />You think of yourself as a true team-player, though you also demonstrate a high level of autonomy<br />You are very rigorous and analytical, examining logically the steps taken and the outcome to make corrections and produce better results<br />You have a proactive “can-do” mentality and prove to be decision oriented<br />You want to delight the customer with effective and compliant solutions<br /><u>COMPETENCIES:</u><br />You have a strong knowledge of digital electronics norms, laws and standards<br />You have experience in digital PCB design<br />You have great problem-solving and decision-making skills, which makes you able to approach complex issues with curiosity and determination<br />You are able to use your organisational skills to plan, prioritise workloads, achieve a balanced budget and meet the deadlines, with a clear vision of risks and opportunities<br />You want to update your expertise continuously and design innovative solutions to fit your customers’ needs<br />You are able to work in a team environment<br /><br />LIFE AS A THALES DIGITAL ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING ROLE<br /><br />As a Digital Electronics Engineering Role within Thales, you will:<br />Design and maintain high quality digital solutions in electronic engineering in accordance with customers' needs and processes to meet project operational requirements<br />Deliver solutions compliant to customer, business and derived requirements<br />Participate in the definition of the architecture and the allocation of functions<br />Support the preparation of technical statements of work for equipment suppliers and management of equipment subcontractors<br />Support the preparation of hardware plans, development of test means and test schedules and their execution<br />Create testing procedures and maintenance for digital electronics equipment and components<br />Work collaboratively with production and procurement to produce cost effective, easy to manufacture digital solutions<br />Ensure digital electronics systems, instruments and equipment meet applicable regulations and safety standards<br />Provide support to the preparation of detailed estimates and bids<br />Monitor compliance of designs against target costs, quality and time<br /><br />YOUR CAREER AT THALES<br /><br />Future opportunities will allow you to discover other domains or sites.
