Working in our Chief Operating Office (COO)

Our COO Teams are the engine that powers Open Cosmos’ operations. This division brings together mission management, supply chain, and quality & product assurance to make sure every mission is delivered smoothly, reliably, and to the highest standards. They turn plans into action, keeping us efficient and mission-ready at all times.

We are now looking for a 1st Line IT Support Engineer in Spain to keep our teams connected, secure and ready to deliver.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be the first point of contact for IT in Spain, keeping our teams productive and secure. You’ll:

• Resolve hardware, software and access issues hands-on, escalating to specialists when needed
• Manage the IT service desk queue and keep users updated
• Set up new starters and offboard leavers, from device builds to account access
• Look after our IT hardware and asset records
• Support colleagues during system rollouts and promote good security habits
• Spot recurring issues and help us improve how IT support works

What you’ll bring

• Experience in a service desk or 1st line IT support role
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills across devices, operating systems and common business applications
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and service desk processes
• A good grasp of security basics, such as passwords, phishing and safe data handling
• Clear, patient communication with people of all technical abilities
• An organised, proactive approach and a genuine focus on great service

This role is based in Spain
