- Help identify technical risks early in the mission lifecycle and formulate engineering trade-offs and mitigations
- Support mission verification, environmental test reviews, and launch site integration flows
- Maintain traceability through clear action item tracking, meeting records, and analysis/test/inspection data in shared company repositories
- Occasionally travel to support hardware integration events, test campaigns, or launch operations (less than 20% travel)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- 0–2+ years of professional or hands-on academic/internship experience in systems engineering, mission integration, or complex technical project execution
- Foundational understanding of core aerospace subsystem interfaces and familiarity with tracking technical requirements against deliverables
- Exposure to maintaining technical documentation, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), or verification matrices
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Master’s degree in an engineering discipline
- Experience working directly as a technical point of contact with external partners or customers in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with commercial space markets, launch service providers, civil space mission lifecycles, or institutional agency processes
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of documenting technical processes, interface definitions, and verification logic
