About the role
Where dreams and reality collide and the output is, out of this world. At Redwire Space, we are a team of dreamers and doers. Where the impossible becomes possible, and every day is an opportunity to learn and get one step closer to knowing the unknown. Join us on our mission to expand humanity’s presence in space.
At Redwire, we develop and deliver advanced technologies that support our nation’s most critical missions. Our teams work alongside government customers, engineers, and program personnel to solve complex technical challenges while protecting some of the most sensitive information and systems in the Department of Defense.
We believe cybersecurity is an enabler - not a roadblock. Our Information Systems Security Officers work directly with engineering, IT, and program leadership to build secure, compliant systems that support mission needs. If you enjoy solving technical problems, collaborating with engineers, and taking ownership of classified information systems from concept through deployment, we’d like to hear from you.

- Assist the ISSM in reporting, documenting, and mitigating information system security incidents; initiate corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Support secure media handling, sanitization, COMSEC activities, and classified data management.
- Partner with engineering teams throughout system design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment to ensure security is incorporated into every phase.
